I bought it to give as a gift. It’s been fantastic so far, and it always makes the perfect quantity. It did, however, come with a cup. The cup’s exterior shell has broken, making it less robust on the outside, but the inside is fine and does not leak.

I decided to fill the K-Cups myself. It’s not easy and it’s a disaster. Then it ceased to function. After a lot of searching, I came to this one. You’ll spend less than half the money and be able to use your own grounds. Easy-peasy. Control the power and make it programmable! It’s simple to use and clean. Teabags can also be used, and the results are excellent. With this one, you’ve done a fantastic job!

It performs an excellent job for a small coffee maker. We have a four-cup coffee maker, and we use this single serve to brew loose leaf tea, and guests will use it for one cup of coffee. It creates a robust and hot beverage. I enjoy utilising the pre-programmed timer. It’s simple to clean and operate.

It’s not terrible for the price. It has a programmed option that I enjoy, and it brews a fresh cup quickly. To use with the basket, I recommend obtaining little paper cone filters. There will be sludge in your cup if you only use the mesh filter. It works nicely with the melita #2 cone filters.

This accomplishes precisely what it claims. It quickly and easily prepares a decent cup of coffee. It doesn’t take up a lot of counter space and looks quite excellent for the price. The provided cup keeps your coffee heated exceptionally well (assuming you use the lid). It’s been approximately two years since I got it, and it’s still going strong. There are no complaints!

A travel cup is included. It’s not my favourite because the insulation is poor and the coffee quickly cools. The cup cover isn’t fantastic either, and if it falls over, it will leak.

I got this adorable single-serve coffee machine. I imagined that once I had everything set up with the Coffee, Water, and Programmable Timer, when I woke up in the morning, there would be a cup of hot coffee waiting for me in the kitchen. That isn’t what this unit does, as it turns out. It has an LED clock (I believe) that also functions as a timer. The technique is to set the clock, then the timer, and then the machine will turn on and prepare the coffee when the time comes. There are a lot of slips between the cup and the lip. To begin with, the Clock functioned OK, but the Timer would not set no matter what I tried. Following the instructions resulted in the Timer returning to its original setting of the Clock. Second, the instructions state that the unit should be unplugged when not in use, which precludes the Clock from being set. Third, I called Wirsh and informed them that the machine could not be programmed. They stated that the electronics were apparently defective and that they would send a new unit. That was before Christmas last year, and the NEW unit has yet to arrive. But, despite this, the tiny little machine can still brew an approximately 8-ounce cup of coffee in under three minutes when controlled manually. “You can’t always get what you WANT, but you always get what you NEED,” Mick would add. A quick rewrite. I’ve owned it for a few months, and my granddaughter just removed a coffee scoop from the water reservoir, which I had no idea was there all along. This was precisely what I required. It was simple to use, and I was able to find criteria that worked for me. I’d suggest it.

Regardless of what they say most brewers just do not function effectively for a single cup, or are overloaded with features. In the morning, I needed a single cup that was simple to use and clean. This is just what I was looking for. I prefer stronger coffee, and the provided coffee baskets frequently aren’t large enough to carry enough grounds to create anything other than brown water. One of the reasons why I’ve never been a fan of puck brewers. (And also because we now know how bad all those pucks are for the environment.) This one has a larger grounds basket, resulting in a stronger cup.

The timer is a little tricky to set up at first, but once you do, you’re good to go. (Until, of course, the power goes out and you’re left staring at the blinking 12:00 on all of your kitchen appliances in frustration.) But I’m getting ahead of myself.)

My other travel mug would not fit because the brew basket is a little on the short side. I ended up boiling the coffee in the provided mug before transferring it to one of my better mugs. It’s a little more work, but my desire for a stronger cup of coffee surpassed the little annoyance of having to clean two mugs. It’s possible that you’ll be fine with the offered cup, in which case this is a moot point.
