I have been using this AirFryer for about a year now. It is easy to use and it looks sleek on the counter. It is not that hard to clean the bin, but is is hard to clean the rack thing inside of it. Also the Non-Stick is peeling off of it as well, this dose concern me and, I may be getting a new one soon. It works pretty well for at least one year. I can also sometimes taste a mechanical flavor depending on what I am cooking. I was told to put lemon, lime, or orange peels inside of it and air fry it until burnt. I believe this dose help! Just a little tip with my review.

This is my third and largest GoWise air fryer and hopefully my last! The first one the handle broke when I dropped the basket. The price to replace the basket wasnâ??t worth it so I rebought it. Then I decided to go bigger so I wouldnâ??t have to cook in small batches. I absolutely love this larger fryer!! SO MUCH EASIER TO CLEAN!! Pop out the insert and wash it and youâ??re good to go! The low wattage is ideal for campers & 18 wheelers. The clean up is minimal and storage isn’t a problem. The cooking times take a little adjusting due to altitude, but just check part way through the cooking process.
The basket us small, so you may have to do extra batches. All in all I have not had any issues with the fryer.

I can cook frozen chicken and it comes out crispy on the outside moist on the inside. Spray a little coconut oil or any oil spray will work. 7 mins @ 195f then flip and 9 minutes on the back side so DELICIOUS ð??? i cook frozen Salmon ð??? spice it up with the spray oil 1st then add seasonings cook 7Mins same 395F each side cooking never got so easy. I also throw in small potatoes or sweet potatoes fries at the same time with the meat and vegetables once I flip it over are added too carrots or Brussel sprouts cut in half too get that crispy edge. Delicious ð???

The air fried veggies are the bomb and now I can quickly and easily get my fiber to feed my hungry microbine. I cannot believe how delicious the Brussel sprouts turn out. Cut them in half , toss in olive oil herbs and seasonings place them flat side down at 370 F for 13 min. Then drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and watch how everyone demolishes em up.

I really like this grill. I have cooked burgers, pork loins , chicken thighs and breasts, they all came out perfect. I suggest that you set a timer so you know when to flip the meat over. My only issue is cleaning the grill surface. It is not non stick. Just like an outdoor grill a soft wire brush is needed to get the burnt on food off. This is no big deal. Use the grilling surface and wire brush in an empty sink. This prevents food particles from flying all over your kitchen. The grease catching tray is easy. Hot water and soap in the sink works fine. With heavy use I clean it between each meal. Once a month I put the lid, grease tray and grill top in the dishwasher. Enjoy!!! HINT: Do not use a course wire brush! It can damage the grill surface.

The air fryer definitely works, itâ??s powerful and large which is exactly what I was looking for. My biggest issue is the beeping, itâ??sâ?¦excessive. There are many buttons on the touch screen display, and each time you push one, the air fryer beeps, loudly. When itâ??s done, it lets out a very long series of beeps, louder than any appliance Iâ??ve ever owned. When you turn it off manually, it lets out that same longgg series of beeps. I donâ??t doubt my neighbors can hear when Iâ??m using this thing. I looked into how I can silence the beeping and there is no way. Some people damage the sound mechanism in theirs, but I donâ??t trust myself to go inside the machine and poke around. I would say, if you donâ??t have any small children or animals who panic at loud sounds, or close neighbors, go for it. I bet this would be excellent for older folks or people who are hard of hearing. I wish I wouldâ??ve listened to the other reviewers. I thought, it canâ??t be *that* loud, right? I was wrong. Consider something else if shrill, ear piercing beeps arenâ??t your jam.

It was good while it lasted, it stopped working about a year after I got it. It started defecting sooner than that (display flicker, air fry setting stayed on even after I pulled the basket out). I will say, for best results only cook one rack at a time. When I cooked two racks, it cooked unevenly. I do wish I would have just payed a little more at the time to buy a more reliable brand.

It has a plastic pan that collects the grease. It slides out and if it falls it will break easily. The grill is “easier” to clean than other grills but it is not effort free. You will need some elbow grease and a good brush to remove the grease in between the holes in the grill. The frame that holds the grill also need some cleaning due to grease and oils spilling over and out and somehow gets inside the housing of the electric component. I turn the frame upside down a few minutes to remove any left-over oils. To be fair, the grill has been useful to me but it would be great if the pan did not come out easily and the plastic was more resistant. The frame could be sealed better so that grease and oils do not get inside the electrical components.

Let me first say that I never used the product. I had ordered the 5 quart air fryer because it says in the description that it comes with 3 racks. It did not. I have taken them back and just was not happy with any of them. I ordered theGoWISE USA GW22956 7-Quart Electric Air Fryer with Dehydrator in hopes my search has ended. I first used it to try chicken, came out amazing and crispy, then sausage (the whole ones you put in sauce). Air fried them for 10 minutes at 360 and wow, they were just like off the grill. I do believe my search is over. I love this air fryer and can’t wait to try other stuff. It is super easy to use and easy to clean. I never heard of GoWise but it beats some of the top name brands I have tried. And the cookbook with 100 recipes was an added plus. Highly recommend this baby.

My previous air fryer had the crisper tray attached which made it easy to remove the basket and â??flipâ?� the contents half way through cooking. I canâ??t do that with this air fryer because the crisper tray moves around and food gets under the tray. Also, with my previous fryer I could just remove the basket and pour the food onto a plate. With this one you canâ??t do that because the crisper tray falls out onto the plate too.

I waited a while before I went ahead with writing out this review because of the mixed reviews that I saw when purchasing this air fryer. I want to say first and foremost that I did not reach out about the minor critiques I have prior to this review.
Let’s get into the nitty gritty about my issues with it, because overall I actually like the product but I want to be as straight forward as possible.
When I first opened it and actually did an inspection of the item there was only a small piece of damage, the guide plastic that helps lead the basket part of the air fryer has a small part broken off. I couldn’t find anything that would imply it happened during shipping. It really just makes it a little weird to get it slotted all the way in every time, it starts working if it’s most of the way in even if the basket isn’t perfectly flush with the fryer. Second issue is about the inside of the basket. The screws that keep the metal attacked to the plastic are available inside of the basket, which wouldn’t pose an issue if they were smooth. Where a screwdriver goes into the actual drew is jagged which makes cleaning annoying, it snags any rag or paper towel and can possibly rip it (paper towel gets stuck on them and it’s a pain to get off). Another problem with cleaning is the air fryer says not to get water I to it, but the basket has some holes between the outside and the inner basket, which you have to clean with water, so you have to make sure it gets dry before you slot it back in. I guess the only other issue I have is that I don’t see much use in all of the different settings on the air fryer, but I’m sure plenty of use in them and like that part.
Now what I love about this air fryer and my tips to avoid some of the issues other people have.
It’s easy to adjust the time and temperature of it. You can adjust the time down and up while cooking, which is a plus for me. It does a great job actually cooking food, it gets the right food crispy and it cooks food that would normally be baked in an oven perfectly. I like making chicken breasts from frozen and it cuts the time significantly off cooking while maintaining the flavor and texture I’m looking for. All of my critiques are mostly nit picking.
I’ve seen reviews about the nonstick coating chipping and flaking and I haven’t had that but I’ve put in measures to prevent it: The little metal grate that it comes with must be used and you have to leave the silicone attached to this plate, they keep it in place and prevent scratching. Don’t use anything that is going to gouge or scrape hard against the coating, no metal if you can help it. And finally, under the little grate I always put down aluminum foil to catch any dropping grease or juices from food, never clean it when it’s piping hot either. Enjoy your food and when it’s cooled clean it, I use my hands and soap, or if there’s a stuck bit I have a soft silicone scrubber. Scouring ruins any nonstick coat that is like this, scratching gouging and scouring just absolutely ruins this type of material. My family had pans like them growing up, so maybe I’m a bit more familiar with it but anything sticky on it is a pain to clean off without risking the pan. If you cook something directly on the coating you NEED oil of some kind. It’s only nonstick with oil. The foil helps with cleanup and maintenance for it, crumbs and loose seasoning is easier to clean than burnt on grease.
Overall I’m happy with the purchase I made and hopefully this will help some people decide if they want to try it too.

Everyone I talked to said they love their air fryer. The only complaints I heard was that people didn’t buy one big enough, so I went with this one. It is huge.
We tried the basics in it and they all work. The one thing we have found is when you load it up on all the racks, the top cooks and the bottom gets warm. You have to rotate and move things around inside of it.

This is my second Gowise Air Fryer my first was a smaller one that I loved but it wasnt Big enough to do the larger things like whole Chickens or Roasts. I tried it with a large Whole chicken Yesterday and it came out perfect! Went With the low and slow and it was moist tender and not under cooked. Looking forward to BBQing a Pork Butt soon!

I purchased this in April 2020 but didn’t use it until March 2021. Originally intended as a gift. I use it often . It has guidelines for grilling but you’ll learn as you use it. Only problem I’ve had is rust forming under the grid cooking surface. I contacted HB they said not to let it air dry. Getting into each little crevice to dry it is difficult. Possibly heating it again after it’s washed will help to dry completely and prevent the rust from forming.

This is my 2nd air fryer. Both had baskets but the other was metal and the whole pan got removed when cleaning. This has a teflon material in the pan and a thin metal insert to drain. Wipe it out and clean in sink. Cooks fast and the tray is large at 7qts. I love this!!!

I was happy to receive this grill after reading so many positive reviews. The main reason I purchased it was because of the dishwasher safe parts. However, after using it twice, I put the drip tray on the top rack of my dishwasher–it came out SO warped I am unable to slide it back in the unit. Will need to return it.

I fully enjoy this Go Wise Air Fryer. I have recommended this air fryer to three family members. However in the one years use, the non-stick coating on the very bottom of the Air Fryer has started to peel off. Not the basket, but the very bottom. I have followed all cleaning instructions and have never abused this air fryer. I would still get another Go Wise Air Fryer, but just be aware of this possible issue. Have used this several times now. It has done very well with whatever we have cooked. It is alot quicker than the oven as it doesn’t have to preheat and times to cook are consistantly 25% quicker even at a lower temp. Fries and tater tots are hands down the winners here! It has been very easy to clean/wipe out when done and all the trays come out easily with tonges. It is BIG! Didn’t want something that only cooks 1 serving at a time. This can do 2 or 3 items for 3 people at once by stacking the trays. Do wish ther was a bit more room between trays even if it sacraficed 4 trays for 3 though. That is the only far fetched complaint. The one thing that I’m excited to try, as it will fit, is to air fry/roast a whole chicken. With that in mind, imagine the size as 2 stacked whole chickens inside an appliance. If you are looking for more of a family air fryer, and have space to put it some where(it does have to have room behind it for hot exhaust like all fryers) you will not be disapointed with this!

My old air fryer died and I needed a new one. Was on the fence about which one to get. After reading reviews about several different fryers I decided to go with this one. I’m so glad that I did! It’s super easy to use. My old one had a detachable basket ( hated it, if you didn’t hold the bottom; it would unclip from the basket and fall) so glad this one is all 1 piece. Used it for the first time today and made chicken breasts. So good and juicy!
The cook book that came with it has some nice recipes as well. With all the different options cooking will be fun again.

This is a great airfryer. Flexible function buttons for keeping items warm or reheating. It has a larger pot than my first air fryer. I have been using it about a month and am still loving it. The only complaint I have is the bottom tray slides out if you try to dump food out of it. You have to use tongs. Not a deal breaker, just a little annoying until you get used to it.

The flat pan with holes that it comes with loses its non-stick if you use and abrasive cleaner or sponge/scrubber. It is the only part that is hard to clean, if you cook something juicy, like meat. Otherwise it is worth every penny.

I love this air fryer. It cooks food quicker than an oven and the basket is huge. I made the best green beans with it that took less than half the time it takes in the oven with a better texture than the oven. It gives food a crispy, crunchy texture especially things like chicken nuggets, mini corndogs, taquitos, etc making it super easy to feed a kiddo. It does take up quite a bit of counter space but I use it at lease 5 times a week so it earned its spot. Iâ??m also looking forward to using it to replace the oven in the summer to keep the kitchen cooler. My SIL has the same one and makes muffins in it so I would say pretty versatile. The overall look despite its size is clean and sleek and the copper accent is pretty. My friend has the red and itâ??s a bright red. If youâ??re on the fence about getting an air fryer, I highly recommend this brand and size, especially for a family or if you feed several people.

It does pretty much everything better (and faster) than most other appliances. The 5 quart size is perfect; Iâ??m usually cooking for only one or two, but could easily fit food for several more. Highly rated by Consumer Reports, which is nice. Very easy to clean, fairly small footprint, touchscreen controls are clear and work perfectly, and the mint color even matches my kitchen. Iâ??m not sure how loud other air fryers are, but this one seems pretty quiet even in my small kitchen.

The only issue is that surface rust showed up on the metal trays after the first washing in the dishwasher. I contacted the company. How much extra would it have been to make them from stainless and charge a little extra to do them right though?

I have been hesitant on buying an air fryer. A lot of reviews on other brands had people complaining of a burning smell or burnt plastic smell when they used theirs. The reviews on this brand were really good. So I took a chance on it. We’ve been using it for two days now and we are completely happy with it. It is easy to use. It cleans up easily and the food tastes great that you cook. And I am happy to say that there is no bad smell when you are cooking anything. If you are looking for a good air fryer, try this one. You won’t be disappointed. I am an honest reviewer on items. If it wasn’t good, I would say so.

So my mother just had to have an air fryer and we got her this one…and it works. I got this unit in July of 2020. We use our air fryer very often and this unit worked great! However it didn’t even last 2 years before the fan motor died. The air fryer rack also started to peel quite a lot, even when we used parchment liners. It worked great while it lasted, now we are looking for something with a bit more longevity.

This is great in almost every way but golly is it loud! To be clear, it’s not the actual frying or cooking that is loud, it’s the beeps the machine makes when selecting anything on the touch-based interface or beeping when the food is done. It was SO bad I poured over solutions to the issue online. Short answer, there is no solution; no mute or lower volume button built in. What I ended up doing was stuffing something on top of the speaker inside of the airfryer just to muffle the noise. Now it works perfectly and doesn’t wake the dead!

This is our first air fryer. I was looking for a way to cook healthier without using too much oils or fats.
I asked around and checked online. Several friends mentioned how they like the GoWISE air fryer and it had a good rating online. It has taken some getting used to but the booklet is very helpful. I just need more practice.
My favorite feature is that it keeps the heat out of the kitchen. I expect we’ll use this more in the summer months. My husband just jumped in with very little training. He likes the way it cooks.
I ordered the larger size but now wish I had ordered the smaller one. This is mostly due to the counter space that it takes up. However, with the stackable racks, the larger size works well for cooking multiple items or for larger families.

I just got my Gowise airfrier and itâ??s great! After the 5 minute burn off I had to do test batches of some fam favorites and the airfrier excelled with all of them. There is a huge improvement over baking even with a convection oven. The fam loves it. Iâ??m just sorry that I waited so long to get one. The 7 quart capacity is more than enough to cook for the entire fam. The extra long cord allows for many options as to where the airfrier is placed. It does have a rather large footprint so keeping it on the countertop in a small kitchen could be problematic. Even though I have a fairly large kitchen I will be keeping the airfrier on my appliance shelves. Love love love! I canâ??t wait for the accessories so I can try out some of the yummy sounding recipes in the book that came with.

It does a good job of grilling a hot dog, but what would have taken about 5 minutes on a regular (outdoor) grill, or about 8 minutes under the broiler setting in the oven, took 26 minutes to cook a regular-sized hot dog. Yes, you read that right: Almost 30 minutes to “grill” a hot dog. FYI: Just because the green light is on does not mean the unit is totally ready to go. And though the 2nd batch of hot dog cooking took less time it still took a long time to grill (18 minutes now). So if you are not in any hurry to cook/eat your food this does work. The unit is very easy to clean and use and small enough to store in a cabinet. PLEASE NOTE: Beware that the unit does get dangerously hot; the handle, thankfully, does not. But if you have little kids around you will need to keep watch.

Overall weight appears to be lighter and lid “tinny.” I don’t believe it keeps in the same heat to do the searing or cooking.

While you will get grill marks, you wont’ get the smoky taste, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this probably won’t work for you. But it’s a nice size and easy to take apart to clean. My biggest issue was cleaning up all the grease the whole bottom portion is a grease pan which allows grease all over the entire grill, also bits of food would get stuck in between. This grill is easy to use and easier to clean than other indoor grills. Bought the sear grill with glass window on top. I sear the steaks on both sides and then turn temperature knob to 350 to cook to desired doneness. Like that the grill has a cover to keep splatters and heat inside. Also love that the grill disassembles for easier cleaning. I wash components by hand and have not had any issues with breakage or worn teflon. Have used this grill for 9 months w/average of 3 to 6 times per week.
This grill is not for a larger family or gathering. It just is not large enough. For two or four people it works great. Can cook four 6-inch hamburger patties or two steaks at one time. I always wash the grill the same day, after it has cooled to room temperature. After 9 months of continual use it still looks
new.
The sear function works great to make dark grill lines and sear in the juices. Food does taste like an outdoor grill.
If you don’t want to clean the grill after each use, a better option is an outdoor grill that only has to be brushed prior to the next use. But, for the comfort of grilling in the comfort of one’s home, regardless of the outside weather/temperature, you can’t beat this grill.

Recommended. Great quality and very easy to use. Food tastes good too. Be sure to spray non-stick Pam on BOTH sides of the grill plate to expedite clean up. Was a pain to clean after the first use. Line the drip tray with alum foil too, for ease or grease removal. Very small grill top too. Not really enough space for two rib eyes, best to cook one at a time. After heating it up, it took about 30 minutes to do a medium steak (0k for a rainey day inside). Outside gas grill still the best but close, only slower and not much burn around the edges. I like gas burnt fat on the edge of my steak. So as alternative to the outside grill, buy it. Not much smoke at all. Smells great cooking. Cook steaks on highest setting. Go for rare or medium. Would buy again. Price is more affordable than others. GO FOR IT !!!

This air fryer is nice, it cooks my food faster than the stove or oven. Its very easy to use and doesn’t take much to clean it out after using it plus the basket space is a nice size and it comes with trays so you can cook multiple things at once….however, some items don’t cook as quickly as I would like, I sliced up 4 big potatoes to make French fries and takes about 25 min at 400°. Also I had some frozen chicken wings from Walmart and they take about 30 to 35minutes at 400° to cook all the way through. Its pretty big so it takes up a nice amount of counter space so if you have a small kitchen please keep that in mind. But overall its nice and was worth the buy, Im satisfied with my purchase.

I love GoWise products and this one does not disappoint. Very easy to clean, too. Be aware that it seems to cook hotter than the typical air fryer recipe, so I reduce the temp and cooking time and check the food often. I burned a lot of brussels sprouts before I caught on to the problem (Duh. My bad). I love not having to heat up my oven to keep the kitchen cooler. This size gives me plenty of room to spread out the food for proper baking, roasting, etc without having to cook in batches.

Don’t believe everything you read. The sticker on the lid of this appliance says, “Get outdoor flavor…indoors.” Psychologically you may think it has “outdoor” (or charcoal) flavor when you see the grill marks on the food. Honestly, the food grilled here doesn’t taste any different than any food cooked in an electric skillet or on a George Foreman grill, of which I have two. Collectively, they all work perfectly well, none of which provide a charcoal flavor. (What? Pretend it’s charcoal? Oh. OK.)
Where the Hamilton Beach unit really shines is in the clean-up. All the seriously contaminated parts can be detached from the unit for easy washing. To me that is SWEET! The grilling element comes off; the lid comes off; and the self-contained grease tray slides out. No kitchen countertop grilling appliance is easier to clean and maintain.
It does have two design faults. First and foremost is the lid. Although it easily detaches—which is great for washing—, it has no stop or rest for it to sit upon in the upright position. Unless there’s a wall behind it for the lid to lean against, you’ll have to do like I do and put a box of Jell-O behind the unit for the lid to sit on while it’s up. (Or have your spouse hold the lid while you attend to the cooking duties. Most people tell their spouse to get out of the kitchen!) Remember, if you lean it too far back, though, it becomes detached.
The other thing is the grease tray. There’s no detent to keep it from sliding out, such as when you’re moving it or putting it away. If it happens to be full of grease and drippings at the time, you may be sorry. No, really!
Aside from the fictitious claim on the lid, it’s a rather fine addition to any kitchen needing a good electric countertop grilling appliance. I highly recommend it, notwithstanding the problematic lid—which does a great job catching airborne grease droplets, by the way—and the way-too-easy-to-fall-out grease tray.

Bought this for my mom as a gift, but I think I use it more than her! This is great for reheating food also! Very quick and convenient! Very futuristic, but you donâ??t have to be tech savvy to understand how to use it. I love everything about it!

The GoWISE 1.7 qt. air fryer functions wonderfully for people looking for a unit to handle a workload for a household of 1 or 2. It can prepare one frozen fish fillet or 1 frozen Impossible Burger patty at a time. It’s perfect for chicken tenders or nuggets. What struck me was how quiet it is. I own its 5.7 qt. brother, which rated near the top of a consumer testing agency’s ratings for quietness, and this unit puts it to shame. It also has ‘toast’ and ‘rewarm’ settings that big brother lacks.
