I have been looking for a while for this size ironing board cover, and one I bought not long ago I had to return because I couldn’t make it fit, despite the measurements being correct. This one was very easy to put on, and secures better than any other I’ve used, with velcro straps underneath. I installed it on top of the old cover, for a little more padding, & is also nicely padded itself. Very nice. A bit pricey but worth it to me for its high quality.

This iron board cover is amazing! The heat resistance and water repelling is outstanding! The cover does not heat up at all while ironing nor does any water at any point soak into the cover! The cover is very well made and easy to install. The multiple velcro straps secure the cover very tightly not allowing it to move at all. One of the velcro pieces came un-sewn & was hanging. I did not want to return it so I just sewed it back on. Also sewed over the pieces to secure them better. It is super easy to attach to the ironing board. The shipping box my cover came in damaged (looked like water damage & no odor) The cover was barely damp at one end & the colors bled just a tiny bit. I haven’t had a problems with it in spite of that and so i just kept it because I really needed it.

Purchased this ironing board COVER thinking I was getting the whole set up; my mistake. I was ready to return it as soon as I opened it however, the cover is well made, I liked the pattern, the cushion, and the fit, so I decided to keep it. Is it worth twenty five dollars? I don’t think so.. I would have rather paid twenty dollars at the most which is why I took off one star. Durability? Sill have yet to see as I tend to iron with caution.

The cover was advertised as large, and I hoped it would fit generously and securely. Not so much. The only portion adequately covered is the tip of the board. I had to try and stretch the heel and sides to fit. The straps didn’t help much because they’re too short. That being said, I’ll make it work. It does reflect the heat, and I can’t speak about scorching as I just received it. It would get 5 stars if it was a more generous size.

This cover exceeded my expectations. The velcro straps make it the easiest to install. I shopped at three ‘big box’ retailers and a specialty store. Their offerings were the same average to poor quality with a simple elastic band (that often doesn’t fit well on the sides). You will be pleased with this product. Cost more, but well worth it. You will notice the better workmanship. Since it’s new, I haven’t rated the stain/heat resistance.

I had to replace my cover that pretty much had heat rot from my iron. This is a good pad at a reasonable price. My only difficulty with it was related to the fact that my ironing board has an iron cradle at the wide end of the board. It was REALLY hard to get the edge of the pad down in between the cradle and the board. However, this is not a shortcoming of the pad.

Wasn’t able to find this silver type cover in a local store. This has padding and a pretty snug fit (which you want). The velcro straps are a great way to keep the cover in place as you’re moving the piece you are ironing. Can’t comment on stain or heat resistance yet.

After putting the cover on my ironing board I noticed a reddish color in 3 places along the edge. Fortunately I was able to wash them off with soap and water and a little rubbing. The first thing I ironed was a small cotton tablecloth and when I was done, there was what appeared to be pilling all over the pad that wouldn’t just brush off with my hand. I needed to use a lint brush and then a lint roller to get them off. Never had that experience and hope that’s not going to my experience going forward.

This pad/cover fit very tightly on our standard ironing board. The nose has an elastic pouch and then there are two Velcro straps mid-way and near the butt end. So it fits very tight. I had expected a simple elastic edge all the way around, so just stretch and put on. Maybe this is better. I don’t know, so we will see. Be careful opening the package, I used a scissors tip to cut the cardboard pkg and nicked the cover (which seems flimsy but I don’t care so long as it works) an inch or so.

Good selection of colors and styles. Some were a little to op-art for our decor in the laundry room. Easy to place on our standard sized ironing boards. Fit perfectly. Seems to be cooler after ironing than the previous one. Love the padding, perfect amount. Clothes do not stick. Just watch starch overspray, not good for any cover with heat applied. In fact better to spray starch when clothes are not on ironing board. Satisfied after several uses.

Because the two straps are sewn on (as opposed to tied or Velcro) it is IMPOSSIBLE to install on a board. Because of this, I broke one of the straps in trying to pull it under & failed – therefore, I had to keep the cover …. Which really is TOO small☹️

I’ve had so many iron covers. They all either move around too much or the drawstring/elastic stop working in a couple of months.
THis cover is thick enough where you don’t need a lining and it has stay put fasteners. It doesn’t stain when the the water from the steam iron hits the surface. It cools immediately following removal of the hot iron.

I was replacing an old iron board cover and was hoping that this would be better quality. The material was very wrinkled and did not provide a tight fit on the board. There are 2 straps with velcro but you are limited on how tight you can make it. It is too soon to know if the material will hold up with the heat so for writing the review on the quality of the material.

I like the way this Gorilla Grip Reflective Silicone Ironing Board Cover, Resist Scorching and Staining Installs. However, it needs padding. I had to put some towels under it. Because when I ironed , the pattern of the ironing board came through on the blouses that I was ironing. If I had my choice, I would not buy it again. In fact, I’m shopping for a new one, and I’ll throw this one away.

I was disappointed that the fit wasn’t more snug on the ends and a bit wider in the sides. The velcro straps are a clever idea but didn’t allow for putting up and taking down the board and so the first time that was done one of them ripped out. We shall see out it holds up in terms of wear and tear and staining and heat resistance.

We have a newer Samsung Washer and Dryer on pedestals and needed to cover the tops to protect them. There is alot of room on top of these and seems like such a waste not to use them temporarily to hold things like folder clothes and such. These pads have magnetic corners so the pads stay put. They have high temp fabrics like an ironing board though we don’t use it for such. Just temporary storage since the pedestals hold detergents and fabric softeners. I thought these were a bit expensive for what they are and do but they will last a lifetime I am sure. I would recommend these to anyone that has a similar need.

I bought this to replace an old worn-out cover. It comes well-packaged, easy to “install,” and with obvious aspects of quality. It is more aesthetically than shown in pictures. The zoom-in picture of only color is the most accurate. If you like a bit of shimmer, that is an added bonus. If an ironing board cover could have personality, this one’s is cool, fun, and dependable.
I we bought it for our island home which is decorative in a flavor of its own! I use a combination of coastal, bohemian, and industrial/farmhouse styles with a hint of distressed French Cottage.

The backing is Slip Resistant, it sort of stays in place even on non-magnetic surfaces. Unfortunately, the ironing top doesn’t stay in place, it slides as it’s not quilted to the back and makes the ironing process impossible.

I can see the metal of the ironing board through the top of the cover. Gorilla makes amazing products, however this is not one of them. I ordered a different brand and am returning this one. Drat!

I recently started sewing and my ironing board was looking old and tired. This new cover was simple and quick to install. The hook and loop straps gave it a snug, custom fit and I have been using it daily to press fabric, iron on fusible fleece and interfacing. Can’t vouch for the stain resistance as it’s only ever had steam applied to it, but it’s nice and thick, the surface is even and it takes the heat like a champ. Highly recommend if your ironing board could use a facelift.

This ironing board cover is a little long for a standard ironing board. On the narrow end of the board, there is an excessive part of the cover left. I would prefer the cover to be wider instead of using the strips as they make the board folding harder – trapped by the folding mechanism. Still the cover does its job. Ironing is easier than on my older board. The quality of the material it is made of is pretty good. I used it only once for my bedding so far and not sure about stain resistance on colour material. Heat resistance is excellent. The top of the ironing cover is pretty wrinkled as it is not placed tight enough on the board. I will see how it will work for other more delicate items.

This attached a little awkwardly at first with elastic on the undersides but once that was fully on, 2 sets of Velcro secured it nicely into place without getting in the way of the ironing board folding mechanism.
I’ve used one of these before and loved it, which is why I chose it. The heat reflective surface makes ironing so much faster and easier, always appreciated for big families. Ironing the back of buttons or ironing patches onto scout uniforms is so much less hassle this way!
